September is National Literacy Month. On September 8th , the world will mark the 47th annual International Literacy. About one in six adults is still not literate.
I am thankful for the opportunity to volunteer to read at the local schools in district 5. My late grandmother always stressed the importance of reading, with her favorite motto
"'READ TO SUCCEED".
